Ryan E. Carreon is a seasoned litigator with a focus on intellectual property and entertainment law. He has successfully handled a wide array of high-stakes disputes involving copyright, trademark, right of publicity, and idea theft, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in federal courts across the country.
His notable representations have included photographer Annie Leibovitz in various copyright infringement disputes, a high-stakes idea theft case involving BBC America’s Orphan Black, a trademark dispute against R&B artist Chris Brown, and a right of publicity matter concerning Chris Soules of ABC’s The Bachelor.
Mr. Carreon earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Carreon worked as a news and sports reporter for an online publication.
