Eric Register is a litigator focused on intellectual property and the protection of his clients’ valuable brands and copyright assets. His experience resolving intellectual property disputes includes handling trademark disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, trade dress disputes, negotiating and structuring co-existence agreements, and litigating copyright ownership and infringement claims. Eric’s clients have covered the span from authors, photographers, Grammy Award-winning musicians and non-profit organizations to multi-national corporations.

Although his practice has focused on intellectual property and entertainment matters for many years, Eric has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of areas, including product liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, employment discrimination and commercial disputes. Passionate about the courtroom, Eric is licensed and has tried cases in the state and federal courts of Georgia, North Carolina and Louisiana. He is an honors graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, and earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Outside of law, Eric enjoys motorsports photography, playing trumpet and tennis.
