David M. Lilenfeld is an intellectual property attorney who focuses his practice on trademark and copyright disputes. He has been lead counsel in hundreds of trademark and copyright cases throughout the United States, in both federal and state courts. His clients span from Fortune 50 companies to start-ups and small, family-owned businesses. He has tried several intellectual property cases to juries with successful verdicts in each. Additionally, David has extensive experience handling trade secret, domain name and defamation disputes. 

A trusted resource for the media on intellectual property issues, David has been published in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Business Chronicle, IPFrontline.com and other business and legal outlets. At conferences, he speaks on intellectual property law and business litigation. 

David earned his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where he was a member of The Ohio State Law Journal. He has received a number of professional honors, including Georgia Super Lawyers, Rising Stars, Georgia Trend Legal Elite and Atlanta Magazine Top Attorneys. David has occupied several rewarding leadership positions in organizations in the legal community, including the Atlanta Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia and the International Trademark Association. 

When not practicing law, David enjoys spending time with his two teenage sons, working out and watching documentaries.
